The House of Arts Veszprém is a contemporary arts centre located in the heart of Veszprém’s Baroque Castle District

Since 1993, it has welcomed visitors of all ages in eight historic buildings situated near the Castle Gate and the iconic Firewatch Tower. The unique atmosphere of the historic surroundings and the Baroque environment provide inspiration for both artists and visitors alike.

As a vibrant cultural and intellectual hub, the House of Arts hosts art history and contemporary art exhibitions, literary workshops, community-building initiatives, art education programmes, and events promoting mental well-being.

The institution operates six exhibition venues: the Modern Gallery (László Vass Collection), Csikász Gallery, fIxIr Gallery, Dubniczay Palace, Castle Gallery, and the Granary Gallery. Together, these venues showcase a wide range of artistic styles and periods, spanning from the 18th century to the present day.

Just inside the Castle Gate, visitors will find the Modern Gallery, where nine exhibition rooms present selected works from the internationally renowned contemporary private collection of art collector László Vass. In addition to the permanent collection, the gallery also hosts a variety of temporary exhibitions throughout the year.
